Shir Ami Food Pantry
"The Shir Ami Food Pantry is available to anyone needing food assistance. the Food Pantry currently serves individuals, other food banks and social service organizations. The Shir Ami Food Pantry is open the first Monday of every month, except when the first Monday is either a national holiday or a Jewish holiday. On those months, the Food Pantry is open the second Monday. Hours are 3 - 4:30pm.
If necessary, appointments can be arranged for other times by contacting the Shir Ami office. All visits and appointments with the Pantry are confidential.
The Shir Ami Food Pantry stocks canned and packaged goods. Foods stocked include: canned fruits, soups and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, rice, applesauce, pasta, tomato sauce, tuna fish, bottled and canned juices. The Pantry also has personal care items and household goods, as well as a selection of kosher food.
Monetary and/ or unexpired food donations are appreciated to help stock the shelves throughout the year. The Food Pantry especially needs paper products (towels, tissues), baby food and supplies, personal care items, coffee and tea, healthy snacks for children, canned fruit, and cereal."
