SCRIP Gift Card Program
WHAT IS SCRIP?
The fundraising program at Shir Ami (known as SCRIP) is an easy way to raise money for Shir Ami and reduce your synagogue dues without spending one extra dime. Shir Ami offers congregants two ways to use scrip: for local Supermarkets or for Gift Cards for an assortment of popular retailers. (please scroll to the bottom for GIFT CARD info)
HOW DOES SUPERMAKET SCRIP WORK?
You’re already buying food at local markets. Your prepaid SCRIP card is like a gift card – but better! With SCRIP, 5% of your food purchases are automatically credited to Shir Ami at no additional cost. (2.5% to Shir Ami, 2.5% toward your dues)
Purchase SCRIP from Shir Ami for your favorite participating market. Then spend it like a supermarket gift card whenever you buy groceries. When a card is empty, call us to order more. Cards can also be purchased at the office if you’re nearby, or your Shir Ami NEIGHBORHOOD CAPTAIN can contact you to make delivery or local pick-up arrangements when your new cards are in.
PARTICIPATING MARKETS INCLUDE:
Acme • Genuardi’s • Giant • Mccaffrey’s • Shop Rite • Superfresh • Redner’s
