The Shir Ami gift shop is home to wide array of beautiful Judaica and ritual objects. We invite you to stop in and browse our selection.
TYPES OF GIFTS AVAILABLE
For families with a b’nai mitzvah approaching, the gift shop carries a nice selection of tallit, kipot, yads, and gift items. For upcoming weddings, you’ll find an assortment of wedding items such as the Gary Rosenthal pieces including wedding mezzuzahs, frames, and candlesticks as well as the ”Shards” line of gift ware. In this line the customer purchases the bulb to step on and then returns the shards to be made into beautiful contemporary pieces such as mezzuzahs, frames, and candlesticks.
As well, kippot can be ordered and inprinted with wedding or bar/bat mitzvah date.
We have also added a selection of items to apeal to children such as Jewish holiday sand art, puzzles and stacking blocks. Jewelry from Israel is displayed including Hamsas, Shema mobius’, and Jewish stars. Shabbat items are in stock including candles from Israel, beautiful candlesticks, kiddush cups.and Challah covers and knives.
If you don’t see the perfect item when browsing, the gift shop also has a wide range of catalogues to order from.
HOURS
The gift shop is scheduled to be open Sunday 9am – 11am, Tuesday evenings 6:15pm – 8:15pm, Wednesday evenings 6:30pm – 8:30pm, and Fridays from 2pm – 4pm. Special appointments can be made in advance.
